iPhone, for now
The web version.
The iPhone app is built and waiting on the App Store. Until it gets there, this is the same fifteen rituals running in your browser — and you can put it on your home screen so it opens like an app. It is a smaller thing than the real one, and it is worth knowing exactly how before you install it.
What you get, and what you don’t
- All fifteen rituals, all three pathwaysYes
- Every "Why this works" explanationYes
- The paced visuals and the quiet closeYes
- Observations, written and kept on your phoneYes
- Deleting everything in two tapsYes
- The tick you feel at each turn of the breathNo vibration in Safari
- Screen brightness for First Light and the night ritualsNot available to a web page
- Reminders at a time you chooseNeeds the real app
- Blind TraceIt is entirely touch and vibration
- Running with no connection the first timeLoads once, then works offline
The missing row that matters most is the first one. Several rituals are built to be followed with your eyes closed or the screen turned away, and the small tick at each turn is how you follow them. In a browser there is no tick, so those rituals ask you to watch the screen instead — which is not what they were designed to do.
Putting it on your home screen
- 1
Open this page in Safari on your iPhone. It has to be Safari — Chrome on iOS cannot add things to the home screen.
- 2
Tap Share, the square with an arrow out of the top.
- 3
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4
Tap Add. Mirellis appears with your other apps and opens without the browser bars.
Everything you write stays in your browser’s own storage on that phone, exactly as it would in the app — there is no account and nothing is sent anywhere. Clearing your Safari website data will erase it, which is the one way it differs from the app.
When the app arrives
The App Store version will have the haptics, the brightness control and the reminders, and the rituals will work the way they were designed to. If you are using this web version, keep an eye on the main page — that is where it will appear. Your observations will not carry across automatically; you can copy anything you want to keep out of the web version before you switch.
Mirellis Companion is not treatment. It does not diagnose anything, does not treat insomnia, anxiety or any condition, and is not a substitute for care from a person. One ritual involves cold water and carries a caution — skip it if cold water on the face is uncomfortable for you, or if you have a heart condition.
